Instance Lewt Rules

Page history last edited by Bendyr 3 yrs ago

Welcome to the Meefipedia,

Meef's lewt rewlz. Subject to change.

Limits

1 blue/purple per instance, until everyone has a blue/purple. Also, 1 shard per instance until everyone has a shard. If an lesser quality item (green or white) is worth an unusually high amount (i.e. righteous orb, etc.), also limit 1 per instance until everyone has one. If an item drops and no one wants it except for people who already have a blue/purple, the people who already have a blue/purple may roll if the item is an upgrade (i.e. they will use it).

Tier 0 (Dungeon Set 1) counts as a blue.

Do NOT loot mobs during battle.

Loot policies

All Steve's Korean BBQ Party

ROLL on all BOE lewt

PASS on all BOP lewt

This is the easiest for us. After a BOP drops and everyone has passed, the group leader will ask if anyone is interested in rolling. Interested parties will roll with /random 100 and the highest roll will win. Ties will be decided by a reroll. This way people can discuss who is rolling, certain people may decide to/to not roll after seeing this, so it helps the lewt go to the most appropriate person. Also it's easier if someone accidentally loots a mob during battle - you just pass without having to suddenly decide if you want to roll (and have to figure out if you already got a blue, etc. etc)

Mixed Party

ROLL on all BOE lewt

PASS on all BOP lewt

Master Looter on boss lewt

This is basically the same, but has some ninja protection built in. There is a brief description of the Master Looter system at WoWWiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Party - search for "Master Looter".

Chests, Crates, etc

Once the area has been cleared of mobs, all interested parties will roll for exlusive rights too loot the contents of whatever type of container it is. If the winner is not interested in any of the weapons/armor, they may distribute them at their discretion. To encourage even distribution of lewt, I propose 1 chest/crate per instance until all have had their turn.

Resources

Multiple party members with the same gathering skill (skinning, herbalism, mining) can rotate gathering in an instance. All members who can get a skillup should be allowed to take at least one hit off of each ore vein, if possible.
